FAQ
1. Is overnight shipping available?
We do not offer express shipping. The Melanie Skye Brand can not promise a customer will receive their package overnight. We can not offer express shipping at this time. Please be patient with your local postal service during this time. It may take up to two weeks to receive your package. Priority and First Class options are available at check out. The delivery service staff members are doing everything they can to deliver packages in a timely manner while being short staffed. It can take up to 5 business days for your order to be processed once we have received. Most of our products are made to order. Customers will receive an email with their tracking number once it has been placed in the possession of UPS or USPS. Shipping is not available on Holidays or Sunday. Orders will be shipped the following business day.
2. Is the company animal cruelty free?
Absolutely! Non of are products are tested on animals. Not a single one. We stand by our brand and would never intend to harm anyone especially animals. We are huge animal lovers. Some of our products are also vegan.
3. How often are products restocked?
We try to restock every two weeks. It can vary in times due to our products being handcrafted. Some items are seasonal and may not be available after they are sold out. It is our intentions to give our clients new and exciting products as often as possible. We dare to be different and we want our customers to be different as well. Its okay not to fit in.
4. Are containers safe from germs?
Yes, we sanitize all of our containers. We were mask and gloves. Gloves are changed often and hand washing occurs a lot. All containers go through a sanitizing bath before and after product has been placed in its final container. Each container is individually wiped down and safely stored away until it leaves our facility. All jars are sealed.
5.. What temperature should items be stored?
Our whipped body butters are made to order. We recommend the body butter be kept in a cool area. Extra heat will cause the product to possibly melt down into liquid form. If it melts to a liquid form place in the fridge for up to two hours to settle the consistency back. Our products are stored in a cool area until they leave our facility to the next destination. We have no control over the product once it has been shipped. (Contact us by email before placing your order if you would like to request your product to be shipped using dry ice.) We ship our body butters in thermal envelopes. All body butters are refrigerated for up to 12 hours before shipping to prevent melting while in route. After the product has been refrigerated it is mailed and you will receive your confirmation.
6. How are your products priced?
The Melanie Skye Brand uses quality ingredients to make our products. We take many long hours making our products by hand. Packing jars/tubes/bags by hand, labeling, and sealing. Our products are priced based off the time it takes to make the products and cost of ingredients. Afterpay and Sezzle are available for affordable payment options.
7. Are products edible?
We understand our products smell delicious however they are not to be consumed as food. Please do not eat.
